The Three Salmons

The Three Salmons Hotel is nestled in the beautiful market town of Usk, Monmouthshire. For the past 300 years The Three Salmons Hotel has been known for its superb quality and generous hospitality and these key elements remain our top priority.

The hotel makes an ideal base to explore the wonderful Monmouthshire countryside. The borderland where King Arthur ruled, the Romans bathed, the Normans built castles, pilgrims worshipped and Turner sketched.

Today, it’s where grapes ripen, salmon leap, markets bustle and culture thrives – and a large chunk of it straddles the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It’s no wonder bikers, hikers, anglers and paddlers love this area.

The Three Salmons full Welsh breakfast will prepare you for a day under the clear blue skies. Whether it’s spent exploring Offa’s Dyke, the towns and castles of Usk, Chepstow and Monmouth. Taking in the spectacular views from Sugarloaf, Skirrid and the Blorenge mountains, salmon and trout fishing on the river or canoeing along beautiful touring stretches of the Usk and Wye.

Return to the Three Salmons to relax in the newly opened courtyard garden and savour the most delicious food from the summer menus created using the freshest, locally sourced ingredients.

Fish specials such as Whole Seabass with cockle butter, summer vegetables and jersey royals or Moules and frites are served daily and complimented by an extensive cellar of wines.  Spend the afternoon taking the sumptuous Afternooon Tea or simply unwind with a refreshing glass of Pimms in the sunshine!

With 24 en-suite rooms, the Three Salmons offers a variety of room types from singles and doubles, to family and even 4-poster rooms, all individually furnished all equipped with flat screen TV’s and DVD players and the most sumptuous beds to relax in, makes a fitting end to your day.
