The picturesque Foxhunter Inn is nestled just off the main road that winds through Nantyderry. The beautiful stone building makes the perfect location for a glass of cider in front of the open fire on a cold winters day or a refreshing glass of Pimms in the gardens on a hot summers day.[divide style=”dots” width=”medium” color=”#659c3d”]
Visit this summer and you’ll be warmly welcomed by Alan and Sue who have taken over the property from TV chef Matt Tebbutt.
There are more changes to announce because Foxhunter Inn, the name gives it away, is no longer a restaurant but once again a lovely pub serving classic British pub grub.
Chef John Stratton, who previously cooked along side Matt Tebutt, continues to rule the kitchen and the quality of the food is fantastic making this a gastro-pub you absolutely need to try out this summer.
The food is delicious, beautifully presented and exceedingly well priced.
With a wide range on the menu there is something for everyone.
The beer garden has recently been groomed and basks in beautiful sunshine through the lunch time hours and into the evening. Ideal for a long lazy Saturday lunch or a Sunday family gathering.
Even your well behaved four legged friend is welcome here.
If you fancy an evening out then try curry nights every Monday, OAP lunch specials are available every Thursday and of course there is the popular Sunday lunch.
But feel free to pop in any day for a truly delicious meal but be weary of the sumptuous dessert list, it’s hard not to over indulge.
Booking is advisable to avoid disappointment.
So take a drive out into the country and treat yourself to a fantastic meal at one of our best local pubs.
